Name:Mowgli
Age: 9-10
Species: Human
Place of Origin (what movie or story did they come from?):
The Jungle Book
Appearance:
Mowgli is a scrawny little Indian boy that wears a Punjab style orange wrap. He has above the shoulder length black hair and dark brown eyes.
Personality:
Mowgli is a naive little Indian boy that is pretty trusting of most people. He is loyal to his friends as well as his new foster father, Baloo, though on occasion he can be pretty stubborn on occasion.
History:
Mowgli was found in a broken down canoe in the bull rushes of a river in India. Being an infant at the time there really wasn't much that he could do but just lay in his light blue blanket and wait until Bagheera showed up. Feeling sorry for the Man-Cub, for that is what the animals refer to Mowgli as, he takes the infant to a wolf pack that had just had a litter of pups hoping they would accept him. The mother immediately took a liking to Mowgli as well as Rama, his wolf father.
10 years pass by in a flash and Mowgli has now grown into a young boy with medium length black hair and has acquired an orange wrap to cover himself up. He'd learned how to live like a wolf. Hunt, howl, and most importantly survive. One night the Elders at Council Rock decided that it was unsafe for Mowgli to live with them any longer due to Shere Khan, the man eating tiger, heading back into their part of the jungle. Heading out on a walk that night with Bagheera, the panther reveals the truth to the Man-Cub about where they were headed, but they would embark the start of their journey in the morning as it was getting late. Climbing up a tree, with the help of Bagheera, Mowgli sits stubbornly on a limb and tells his friend that he thinks he's able to take care of himself. Eventually Mowgli falls asleep after having already gotten himself into trouble with Kaa the snake and is awakened early the next morning by the sounds of stomping and trumpeting.
Swinging down a vine to investigate he discovers that its the Dawn Patrol, a herd of elephants that wakes up the jungle. Deciding to have some fun he joins them until being found out by the herd leader that he wasn't an elephant. Bagheera intercedes on Mowgli's behalf and the duo once again start the trek toward the Man-Village.
After an argument ensues between Bagheera and the boy, Mowgli finds himself alone, until he hears a rustling noise in the bushes nearby. A giant sloth bear who introduces himself as Baloo appears and the two ensue a friendly boxing game and roaring contest. Once getting to know each other a little better, Mowgli decides to stay with Baloo and become a "bear" like him, so in return Baloo teaches Mowgli "The Bare Necessities" which is like his motto for survival. Since the heat of the midday sun, the two head to the river to relax and cool off, only resulting in more trouble for Mowgli. In the trees above the Bander-log have captured him and taken him to their leader, King Louie. Questioning why he was lead to the ruins, Louie explains to Mowgli that he's tired of being an ape and wants to become a man like him, starting with the secret of fire or which Mowgli doesn't know how to create. Meanwhile, Bagheera and Baloo devise a plan to save their little friend, by dancing. Having a wonderful time, the plan is ruined when Baloo's disguise is foiled and a chase begins. Seeing as how the boy gets into so much trouble, its decided that Baloo take Mowgli back. Feeling betrayed Mowgli runs away deeper into the jungle only to find himself in more trouble, this time with the crafty serpent Kaa.
Falling for his hypnosis trick, Mowgli falls asleep for awhile until being awoken and pushing Kaa out of the tree. Deciding he didn't belong anywhere in the jungle, the boy wanders into a desolate area and meets a group of vultures and just as he begins to slightly fit in with them, Shere Khan appears. Showing no fear against the tiger, Mowgli picks up a stick attempting to attack the tiger until the vultures reveal that he's afraid of fire. Setting the weapon he has on fire and tying it to the end of Shere Khan's tail the tiger runs off in fear. While in the process of this fight Baloo had fallen while trying to protect his little buddy.
Thinking that the bear was gone Bagheera and the boy start walking toward the man village until Baloo wakes up. Overjoyed Mowgli runs towards his Papa Bear and hugs him tightly in relief. While walking through the jungle Mowgli spies a creature drawing water from a river. Wanting to get a closer look, since he had never seen another human before. Mowgli climbed a branch and peered out only to fall into the water and embarrass himself causing him to run back into the leaves, but not too far in. Smitten by the girl's looks he follows her into the Man- Village and ends up staying there.

RP Sample:
This was it. Mowgli was now completely alone. "From now on, you're on your own...ALONE!" Bagheera had said to him. The words still echoed in his mind as he walked along, kicking up some dust as he moved. Sliding down a large tree trunk he came across a large rock and plopped down, hugging his knees close. What was he going to do now? Here Mowgli was, completely on his own like he wanted to be in the first place, being able to take care of himself, but was he really truely happy? Sighing as he sat there contemplating what to do his attention was raised when he heard a sudden rustle nearby. Deciding to be still, just in case it was a predator, Mowgli looked over to find a very large sloth bear come dancing and singing around the corner. Staring up at the animal in bewilderment and annoyance, Mowgli slapped the bear hard on the nose vocalizing that he wanted to be left alone. Finding that the bear was not leaving the boy tries his best to ignore it until the animal says that he isn't able to take care of himself. Of course he was big enough to do that! Standing up Mowgli begins to show the bear his strength as he begins punching and kicking the bear as hard as he can in the stomach which proved to be of no use. Feeling a tad miffed by the bear's comment, Mowgli stands up and begins jumping around in a poor boxing position preparing himself to fight the animal. "I can beat this guy..he shouldn't be too hard.." Mowgli thought while trying to find an opening to punch the bear.
